#Week 1
Ask your interviewee about:
1. his age, hobby, family.
2. the place he or she comes from e.g. What is it like? / What’s special in your country?
3. the reason why he or she comes to Taiwan.
4. the eating habit in his or her country.
5. his favorite traditional dish and the story behind the dish.
6. the recipe of the dish (in written form and providing a clip about how to make it; the latter is optional).
#Week 2
P.S.
1. Please pay attention to the accuracy of the tense, grammar and spelling of your writing.
2. Post your materials before Thursday and give comments to the other groups before next class begins. Each group should give comments to the other 4 groups.

Discuss the following rubric and decide the percentage you would like to give to each item except the last one.

#Week 1
Section I
Introduction of the project
1. Teacher gives instruction through a Web 2.0 tool—blog—of what they are required to do regarding the project.
2. Teacher provides a clip from You-Tube on how to interview people.
3. Teacher demonstrates how to use this tool.
Section II
1. Teacher has students discuss in groups to decide who will be the interviewee and write out questions they are going to ask the interviewee.
2. Teacher has students get on the class blog to figure out how to use it.
#Week 2
Section I
1. Teacher demonstrates a passage on a traditional Chinese (Taiwanese) dish containing its cultural background or the stories behind it through the class blog.
2. Teacher provides the recipe of the dish in written form.
3. Teacher provides a clip fromYou-Tube on how to make the dish.
Section II
1. Teacher has students work in group to post their information on the blog.
Week 3
Section I
1. Teacher demonstrates the rubric for assessment.
2. Teacher has students decide the percentage of each item through the whole class discussion.
Section II
1. Teacher has students critique each other’s work based on this rubric.
